TBP is tributyl phosphate, a colorless, odorless and transparent liquid. It is mainly used to extract non-ferrous metals such as cobalt, lithium, iridium, manganese, molybdenum, palladium, rhodium, nickel, uranium and tungsten.
It is stable at room temperature and has been widely used in the extraction of non-ferrous metals.
